This Mackindye paper bead necklace is handmade in Uganda, Africa. Each paper bead is hand-rolled with paper, then painted and sealed, making each necklace a piece of art. The necklace has four strands of small paper beads, with double strands of gold-coloured beads as at the bottom of each main strand. A beautiful piece that can be used to dress up a simple outfit.

Each necklace includes the name of the woman who made it on the tag, providing a direct personal connection to the maker.
